The level system at Dollhouse Poledance Studio

Our goal is to teach participants with similar skills together, in a smoother and more effective way.

What is our level system like?
For the high level mastery of pole dance, you need to complete five levels.
Following the principle of progressivity, the levels include technically and physically more difficult tricks and dance elements. This way, we strengthen your body step by step and prepare it for exercises requiring more physical command.

The levels are built on one another, so you can get higher by completing a given level successfully on a level exam lesson.

The trainers of Dollhouse Poledance School provide information on the elements, exercises and the requirements of the levels.

What do you need to know about the level exam lessons?
They are solely held by the trainers of Dollhouse Poledance School, based on a given set of criteria. After the joint evaluation, you can get to the next level.

There is a minimal room for error, however you also know that in order to avoid injuries, precise technical and physical preparedness are needed.

How to prepare for the level exam?
You can apply until the 15th of every odd month at the trainers of Dollhouse Poledance School.
After the end of every even month there is a preparatory lesson for 2 x 60 minutes.
The time of the exam and of the preparatory lesson is provided by the trainer, after the application.

Level exam of private groups:
If you are a member of a private group, you can complete the l
evel exam together with your group for an exam fee of 5000 HUF, or you can apply for a group exam.

What you need to know about the levels:

Level 1

- methods of pole holds with hands, proper position of hands and feet, distance between the pole and the body
- poses on the pole in different positions: ballerina, B hook (showgirl), crab
- walking around the pole, to all possible directions
- basic steps, bends, hip moves at the pole
- the technical and practical execution of steps starting spins
- the technical and practical execution of arriving from the spins
- the basic turning move at the pole (swing motion)
Basic spins:
Fireman with knee hold, fireman with crossing legs (basic), fireman with crossing legs in the front, fireman with one leg stretched, butterfly front arriving on the knee, butterfly back arriving on the knee, sunflower with heel hook, sunflower with knee hook, scissors slide, chair, sitting cat, sitting cat with one leg stretched, swing motion, butterfly front - closed, butterfly front - rond, step & slide, martini

Level 2:

- all the basic spins, holding your weight with one hand
- connecting moves at the pole, keeping, moving and spinning your own weight, holding with both hands, starting from a standing position and from a step as well
- preparation of the 180-degree vertical turn of the body, with the necessary preparatory moves
- using a rotating pole and learning the basic holds on it

Elements and spins
windmill, caroussel, arrow, side arrow, straight spin, Hollywood inside, Hollywood outside, outside sunflower front, outside sunflower back, outside sunflower back with inverse grip, side spin using both hands, side spin using one hand, side spin with straight leg, side spin in split, side spin in cradle position, crucifix, crucifix with bent torso, jumping spin, jumping fireman, cradle with 2 types of leg position (paralell, crossing), boomerang preparation

Basic spins to opposite side hold with 2 hands, spin combinations, connecting at least 2 spins

Using spinning pole and performing level 1-2 spins on it: sunflower with heel hook, sitting cat, Hollywood inside - connecting the elements (level 1 with level 2, level 2 with level 2), connecting butterfly front and back, sunflower back (baseball grip) with sunflower back

Level 3:

- Strength elements with hands and legs, or just hands on the pole, in basic position and head down (180-degree vertical turn)
- Climbing techniques up and down the pole
- Learning the special hold technique on the pole with both legs , and performing basic elements from this


Tricks:
pole sit, cross knee, cross knee release, leg hook (candle), cross knee split (wrist sit), cross knee release and straighten, gemini upper body facing the pole, crucifix invert, vertical split, gemini with left and right leg (gemini and scorpio), gemini without hand, gemini and turning upper body facing the pole, boomerand, V invert, basic teddy, crucifix invert and caterpillar down, split with back grip, handstand split, handstand Z

Spins: flying cat, flying cat with splits, corqsrew, spinning boomerang, spinning V invert, spinning basic teddy, cradle spin with straight legs, cradle spin in splits, cradle spin starting on the floor


Poses:
spinning ballerina pose on the floor, attitude on the floor, flag on the floor

Climbing techniques: 2 legs, 1 leg, side climbing

Combinations: cradle combinations, boomerang-caroussel, butterfly back-V invert

Using spinning pole and presenting elements according to the level: spinnig V invert, spinning boomerang, gemini without hands

The strengh elements should be hold for 3-4 sec!

Level 4:

- all the basic spins to the opposite directions, with one hand
- learning more complicated spins, performing almost all the learnt moves with one hand
- strength elements on the pole with legs only, head down, in different postures
- climbing and executing strength elements
- connecting more strength elements on the pole
- connecting spins on the spinning pole, performing strength elements

Tricks: hanstand from the floor, caterpillar, climbing up using caterpillar technique, attiute on pole, superwoman, pencil, shoulder mount-V invert, shoulder mount-upper body facing the pole, basket, flag on the pole, gemini and changing gemini and scorpio leg, flat line scorpio, twix, teddy upside down, spinning ballerina pose on the pole, bird cage, bird cage with straight leg, tail split, tight hold, body wave, boomerang 8 on pole, iguana, aisha, reverse superwoman

Level 5:

Master level, knowing all the previously learnt elements. As there are newer and newer tricks, we can always extend our technical knowledge and physical condition. On this level, we apply the most difficult combinations.

Tricks: straight spilt, diva, split upside down, allegra 1 & 2, knee hold 1&2, handspring, handspring with twisted grip, cradle pose, underarm hold front, underarmhold back, straight edge, caterpillar straddle, back hook, jade, elbow grip, half moon, half moon reverse

The highlighted elements are 100% asked to do in the exam!
